Excellent surprise gift on arrival, card and present provided instead of handwritten note. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms with heaters. Privacy between cabins, close to visitor centre. Almost everything you need in the cabin. Close to Cradle Mountain, excellent stove and kitchen facilities. Effective address of water problem by night staff. Accommodating office/shop staff with extensive food and drink options. Late arrival box for keys, warm cabin with fireplace. Small cabins with well-equipped kitchen, thorough cleaning before arrival, good store at reception. Comfortable beds, warm room with little heater, clean toilets and showers. Would stay again.

Location, the size of our cabin. The staff were always friendly and welcoming.

The wildlife roaming freely in the park. Value for money.
On a freezing cold day, the only heater they used to pre-warm the cabin was a tiny little electric heater that did nothing. The cabin was freezing.

location - Cradle Mtn is incredible and a must see for any visitor to Tasmania
hot water was turned off when we arrived the "cabins" are glorified vans and the holiday park is basically a caravan park!

A great and comfortable place for my wife and I to be away for a weekend. The facilities are great
Just a minor thing but if possible equip the huts with non-stick frying pans.

My cousin and I stayed at Discovery Parks for one night before hiking the Overland trail. The location was perfect, right by the visitor center and a short drive to the national park. The staff was helpful and the room had everything we needed. The on-site store was a convenient option for any forgotten items. The self-contained cabin was spacious with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The communal kitchens and laundry areas were a bonus, and the whole place had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
Can recommend this hotel.

The cabin had everything we required. It was conveniently located opposite the Visitor Information Centre and cafe, as well as the Cradle Mountain National Park. The little shop catered very well for our breakfasts.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Discovery Parks. The location was excellent, very close to the visitor center of Cradle Mountain. The cabin itself was cozy and clean, providing us with a comfortable place to unwind after a long day of exploring. The heater was a lifesaver in the cold weather, ensuring we stayed warm and toasty throughout our stay. The easy and smooth check-in process, even on Christmas day when the reception was closed, was a great convenience. The free shuttle buses running every 10 minutes were a fantastic perk, making it easy to hop on and hop off at the restricted locations for trails and sightseeing. The affordability of the accommodation was another plus point, especially considering its prime location. The presence of essential items, a proper fridge, and ample blankets added to the overall comfort of our stay.

The cabin is not big but very comfortable. The kids like the bulk beds.

The cosiness of the cabin. The close proximity to the National Park and all the wild life.

We got great value for our money with a spacious, self-contained cabin that had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, close to the visitor centre, bistro, and shuttle service to Cradle Mountain. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even leaving our key in the box for our late arrival.
The breakfast experience could be improved with more variety in the food sold at the reception. The frozen beef we bought was expired.

Great location across the road from the Park Headquarters. Walk over the road for the shuttle bus to Dove Lake and then walk back, mostly downhill. relax in the large spa bath
Price high for a couple but it does have 2 bedrooms so great for 4.
